My background is in family harm, sexual harm and brief intervention work across many areas including anxiety and depression. Within my ACC sensitive claims work I am alongside individuals supporting them one on one and I deliver a self-compassion therapy group at our local Women's Centre.

There is such a variety of support that I can offer in my role as social worker. I support people to connect with local agencies and increase social support and connection - I've been along to Magenta Creative many times, the Women's Centre, Nikau Hub. I am happy to meet people where they feel comfortable and regularly go to Isel Park or the beach.

For those who like animals and may find this supportive, I can bring along my pug Sugar who tends to always get a positive reception!

Other tasks I've done in my ACC social work role include advocacy with agencies like Winz, ACC and attending GP appointments. I've assisted with paperwork for PIC applications and housing tribunals.

I'm comfortable working with young people and adults. I'm part of the rainbow community and love supporting fellow rainbow whānau.
